In line with our long-term plans for expansion and to ensure the smoothest operation possible, we’ve recently completed a legal transition to a new limited company — Citiprint (London) Ltd. This change is purely a formal restructure and has no impact on our day-to-day operations, staff, or the high level of service our clients know and trust.

Our motivation for this move is simple — to create a clean, future-proof foundation for growth as we continue to invest in faster equipment, expanded capabilities, and improved systems behind the scenes. The past year has seen significant investment in new print and finishing machinery, allowing us to deliver even quicker turnaround times and higher-quality results across all of our print and signage services.

This legal transition ensures our business is set up to thrive for the next decade, with clearer processes, stronger financial structures, and room for continued innovation.

Banners are everywhere, they’re great for short and long term promotion and can be fixed to most surfaces. But, what do you need to consider when ordering a Same Day Banner from Citiprint in London?

We’ve put together this short guide to give you our top three bits of advice when designing and ordering your Banner.

1. Material? – Banners are typically printed on PVC but with the Winter months looming, we recommend Mesh – it has tiny holes in which allow the wind to pass through without damaging your banner. Your banner won’t look any different and will be hemmed to prevent any fraying.
2. Hems? – we always recommend hemming for long term use of banners but you may not need them if your banner is going up for a short period of time. In these cases, we use Hemming tape, a strong strip of reinforced material to keep your banner’s edges protected from the elements.
3. Eyelets or Tape? If you’re hanging your banner up on a fence, building or car, we recommend you opt for eyelets so you can easily use cable ties or straps to fix your banner in place. For all other applications, we recommend double sided tape so you can stick your banner to walls, surfaces or flat objects.
